Few businesses in Janesville have a name more intriguing that Sex Confidant 4 U.  Its owner is Scott Story, who also owns My Office – JVL, a new “virtual” office building in downtown, Janesville.  Through our conversation, I discovered what Sex Confidant 4 U is all about and I am glad to be able to share our Discover Janesville conversation here with you.

Spotlight on LGBTQA Community: The Ruby Project

The Ruby ProjectThe mission of The Ruby Project is to empower and educate our local LGBTQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, Questioning, Allied) community through support and services. In other words, the Ruby Project aims to be the information clearing house for the LGBTQA community in Janesville.  In the spirit of getting  information out there both to LGBTQA community, and to everybody else, I took the opportunity to sit down and speak with Kelley and Scott about the Ruby Project and their upcoming picnic “Out in October”.  Things are clearly on the upswing for the folks at the Ruby Project, as Scott announces on our podcast that local branch of BMO Harris bank just committed to support “Out in October” in the amount of $500.
